Brancott Estate launches 18.7cl bottle

Published:  25 January, 2012

Pernod Ricard UK is set to launch a 18.7cl bottle of Brancott Estate.

The company already has Jacob’s Creek and Campo Viejo in the 18.7cl category, but says New Zealand is not yet represented.

Channel director for wine Lee James said: “There is a retail opportunity for New Zealand in that category, which is growing at 28.5%. Sixty-five per cent of consumers who buy into that category only buy 18.7cl.”

The single-serve bottle is to retail for £2.69 and will be available from the end of this month.

The release came after Brancott Estate finalised its rebrand from Montana.

The brand has also released a smartphone app which allows consumers to play games, find out about tourism in New Zealand and match foods with Brancott Estate wines.
