Bibendum to unveil 23 new producers

Published:  16 January, 2012

Bibendum is to launch 23 new wineries at its annual trade tasting next week.

The Royal Tokaji Company, Prophet’s Rock from Central Otago in New Zealand and some top Burgundy domaines are among the new line-up to be unveiled at the tasting in London on January 25.

Managing director Michael Saunders said: “We are always looking to improve and refresh our portfolio with excellent new producers, and I am very excited by the new arrivals. Our focus for 2012 is undoubtedly on premium wines, and these new agencies demonstrate our clear belief that, despite the economic climate, we can sell more and better wine to all channels of the UK trade.”

Other new arrivals include Etna winery Tenuta di Fessina, Acustic Cellars from Priorat and Battle of Bosworth from McLaren Vale.

The tasting takes place at the Brewery in London’s EC1 from 10.30am to 7pm. Find out more at bibendum-wine.co.uk/events.
