Blue Nun launches 5.5% abv range

Published:  13 January, 2012

Blue Nun has launched a low-alcohol range of wines at 5.5% abv.

The range, called Delicate, comprises a still Crisp Fruity White and Crisp Fruity Rosé (rrp £3.99), and a Sparkling White and Sparkling Rosé (rrp £5.99).

The brand said it was a natural step to introduce a 5.5% abv version of its naturally lighter German wines.

The launch follows a number of launches, range extensions and revamps in the lighter wine category, which take advantage of a tax break for wines up to 5.5% abv.
