Westons and Marco Pierre White launch cider

Westons has teamed up with chef Marco Pierre White for the launch of a new cider.
The Governor is an oak-aged cider developed to accompany traditional British dishes such as bangers and mash and roast dinners.
The 4.8% cider is available in 50cl bottles and has an exclusive listing with Morrisons until February.
White said: “The Governor is like an apple bellini – fresh, fruity and smooth with an elegant mouthfeel.
“Without question, Westons produces the greatest commercial cider in the world.
“My mother taught me as a young boy that a tree without roots is just a piece of wood. Westons has very long roots.”
