Innis & Gunn to double workforce
Oak-aged beer producer Innis & Gunn is to double its workforce with the creation of 13 new jobs.
Twelve of the new roles will be at its Edinburgh base with the remaining post in sales in Canada.
The job creation programme is part of a £1 million investment which includes the redevelopment of part of its Edinburgh premises into a visitor centre.
Scottish Enterprise has pledged £175,000 over two-years to part-fund the investment.
Vacancies will be advertised from January and all the UK-based jobs – which include sales and marketing roles – will be filled within six months.
Managing director Dougal Sharp said: “The focus last year was on creating the right systems infrastructure to cope with the increased demand for our product.
“Now that they are in place and we are seeing the fruits of our labours, the time has come to recruit the right people to continue driving forward growth.”
