WSTA announces interim head

WSTA communications director Gavin Partington will take over from chief executive Jeremy Beadles in an interim role while the body hunts for a permanent successor.
It is understood that current chairman Tim How and nominated chairman Nick Hyde, managing director of Diageo Wines Europe, are leading the recruitment process.
Beadles is to leave on January 20 to take up the role of corporate relations director at Heineken.
Partington said: “It is important that the WSTA continues to provide the high level of service to its members that they have beome used to receiving under Jeremy’s leadership.”
The recruitment process is expected to continue until April.
