Wine Rack opens 21st shop

Published:  22 November, 2011

Wine Rack has opened a shop in Radlett, Hertfordshire – bringing its estate to 21 shops.

The branch carries more than 500 wines, including a large selection of fine wines, more than 200 spirits and more than 150 beers and ciders.

It is celebrating its opening with deals including Taittinger NV Brut Champagne, down £9 to £21.99, Laurent Perrier Rosé Champagne down £9 to £39.99 and Santa Eleni Prosecco half-price at £4.99.

The shop will hold free tastings every weekend and has easy parking nearby.

The Wine Rack trading name and 13 shops were bought in December 2009 after First Quench went into investigation, by entrepreneur Laki Christoforou's LCL Enterprises.

Christoforou also owns wholesaler Venus and plans to open more Wine Rack branches soon.
