Talisker sponsors Atlantic rowing race

Talisker Whisky has signed up as the title sponsor of rowing race the Atlantic Challenge.
The race sees each crew row some 3,000 miles in tough conditions, and is known as the world’s toughest rowing race.
It launches on December 4 in the port of San Sebastian de la Gomera in the Canary Islands and ends at Port St Charles in Barbados, with successful competitors expected to arrive in the Caribbean from mid-January onwards.
Talisker’s Europe brand manager at Diageo Ben Booth said: “For many of its adorers, Talisker Whisky, made by the sea in the Isle of Skye, represents passion, confidence, challenge and achievement – uncompromising emotions that will characterise the daring participants in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.”
