Judy Halewood to chair Lambrini company
The widow of the late John Halewood is to take over as chair of the company that bears his name.
Judy Halewood will be joining the board of Halewood International and the H&A Prestige Packing and Willow Water operations.
Halewood International managing director Andy Smallman said: “Although John cannot be replaced, we are fortunate to have in Judy someone who knew and appreciated his vision, priorities and determination.
“Insofar as is possible in the circumstances, we expect a smooth transition to the new arrangements.”
Judy Halewood will take up her new position after the private, family funeral service for John Halewood which will be held on October 26.
A public memorial service will be held at 7pm on November 7 at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral.
John Halewood died on Ocober 15. He was the founder and chair of the company best known for its Lambrini and Crabbie's brands.
