CWE to launch Mount Rozier wines
Cape Wine Exporters plans to launch its Mount Rozier brand in the UK market in 2012.
The British-owned South African company bought land and buildings from Mount Rozier in 2010 and has now completed the acquisition of its remaining vineyards.
Mount Rozier will join CWE’s existing Journey’s End range in the portfolio of UK agent Bibendum Wine.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc single varietals will have an rrp of £9.99.
Rollo Gabb, marketing director of the family-owned company, said: “As a family, we have always had great passion for South Africa and Stellenbosch in particular.
“We are delighted to be seeing more and more truly great wines being produced in this region and even more delighted to be part of this movement.”
