Litherland fills new Britvic role

Former Diageo GB boss Simon Litherland has been appointed managing director of Britvic Soft Drinks, the GB arm of Britvic plc.
Litherland left Diageo recently after a shake-up of its European market structure.
He takes up the newly-created post at Britvic on October 4.
Britvic chief executive Paul Moody said: “The creation of the post of a GB managing director is a step forward for Britvic, giving the GB business a tighter focus and allowing the group executive committee to concentrate on our strategy of growing internationally, both through acquisitions and extending existing franchise agreements.”
