De Vere sells Greenalls gin

The De Vere hospitality group has sold its Greenalls gin business to a private equity-backed management team.
The deal is worth a reported £7.5 million and is headed by chief executive Christian Rose, financially-backed by Enzo Visone, former chief executive of Italy’s Campari group, and investment banker Warren Scott.
De Vere, which operates top-end hotels, said the sale was part of its strategy to dispose of non-core businesses.
