Clay to release Schneider wheat beer special

German wheat beer brewer Schneider is launching a limited edition bottle-fermented beer in the UK.

Schneider Weisse Nelson Sauvin has been brewed to mark the 25th anniversary of the ABT group of speciality beer cafés in the Netherlands.

A limited number of cases of the 7.3% abv beer are being shipped from October by Schneider’s regular UK importer James Clay.

The importer is comparing the beer’s flavour profile to Sauvignon Blanc wine and recommending grilled fish, shellfish and creamy cheese food pairings.
