Caipirinha pre-mix heads for UK

A pre-mixed caipirinha cocktail is making an assault on the UK market.
Bayão has a base of 53% fruit wine with a specially developed caipirinha flavour mix.
The brand is already on sale in Germany, Holland, Spain and Austria and there are plans to launch here in the UK later this year.
The 5.4% abv product will be supplied in 27.5cl bottles and Vertical Drinks, the UK distributor of German brewer Veltins lager, is helping the search for a distributor
The caipirinha is the national drink of Brazil.
Volker Kuhl, sales and marketing director for Bayão, said: “We believe there is excellent potential for this quality ready-to-drink product, which captures the mood of Brazil.”
