Marlborough wine producer links with Bottle Green

Published:  22 July, 2011

Bottle Green has ended its quest for a New Zealand partner with the addition of Toi Toi Wines to its portfolio.

Launched in 2006, Toi Toi is owned by Marlborough Wines and is best known for its Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Central Otago Pinot Noir.

The wines are made by a team led by Roseworthy-trained Chris Young, and also include Brookdale Pinot Gris, Marlborough Dry Riesling and unoaked Chardonnay as well as sparkling Sauvignon Blanc and rosé, and Late Harvest Dessert Wine.

Bottle Green commercial director Adam Marshall said: “Bottle Green has been on the look-out for a serious New Zealand partner for some time and is delighted to be collaborating with Toi Toi Wines.

“Toi Toi is a range of quality, distinctive wines at good value for money from one of the most innovative wine regions in the world and we are very pleased to be bringing the brand to the UK market for the first time.”
