Online retailer FindWine links with horses and bikes

Published:  05 June, 2011

Online wine retailer FindWine has announced a number of sponsorships it says will fit in with its “colourful and offbeat” reputation.

The company has become official wine sponsor of the Heaton-Ellis Trust Bicycle Polo Tournament, an event that aims to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

The tournament takes place in Hampshire on June 25 and FindWine will provide a selection of wines as well as fielding a team of its own.

FindWine is also backing eventing rider Kate Lukas as she competes in a series of tournaments on the UK circuit. In addition to branding across both rider and horse, FindWine will be the major sponsor of Lukas’s equestrian centre in Littleton Manor in Surrey.

FindWine will also have the opportunity to sample and sell at a number of events including Brightling Park International, Houghton International, Longleat International and the South of England Show.

Company founder Mike Howes said:  “By aligning our brand with like-minded events, individuals and consumers we can grow our presence, diversify from the norm and develop FindWine as the first lifestyle wine retailer.”
