Maxxium takes on luxury gin

Maxxium UK will take over distribution of No 3 London Dry Gin from June 1.
The gin is currently handled in the UK by Inspirit Brands. It is owned by Berry Bros & Rudd, whose malt whisky brand, The Glenrothes, is already distributed by Maxxium UK.
Maxxium said No 3 will be positioned at the top of the super-premium gin category and is targeted at the luxury end of the on and off-trade.
The product is made in traditional copper pot stills with three fruits and three spices.
Maxxium UK managing director Huw Pennell said: “We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with Berry Bros & Rudd with the addition of No. 3 London Dry Gin, a perfect strategic fit for Maxxium UK.”
