Royal Mile Whiskies to launch Drinkmonger retail chain
Edinburgh-based retailer Royal Mile Whiskies is opening a new shop under the banner of The Drinkmonger.
The store in Pitlochry, Perthshire, is being created on the site of a former Haddows off-licence and will feature an extensive wine range as well as spirits and cigars.
The company said: “Our vision is that The Drinkmonger shall grow into a small chain of quality wine and spirit merchants, sharing the same desire for quality of range and service that exists throughout our business.”
The first store has been conceived by Edinburgh agency Contagious Design, and will have a larger sales area than the Haddows shop.
Royal Mile, which was established in 1991 and has a branch in London as well as an online business, is currently recruiting a manager and assistant manager for the Drinkmonger store.
