Off-trade push for Meteor beer

Alsace-brewed Meteor beer has been repackaged for the UK and is planning a sales drive in the off-trade.
The label has been given greater stand out to emphasise its premium positioning and brewed-at-source credentials.
Stéphane Nuellas, Meteor’s commercial director, said: “We believe that the brand is benefiting from the UK’s well developed interest in brewed-at-source, authentic beers.
“Traditionally our focus has been on the on -trade, but we’re committed to developing our off-trade business and hope that the strong on-shelf stand out of the newly-repackaged bottle, with its emphasis on our authentic Alsace brewing tradition, will help drive growth.”
Meteor is available in 33cl bottles at 4.6 % abv through Casa Julia.
