Chianti producer joins Bottle Green family

Published:  29 March, 2011

Chianti producer Sorelli has joined Bottle Green’s portfolio.

The century-old Tuscan wine business is owned by brothers Luciano and Renato Sorelli and has three estates totalling 300ha.

As well as handling the Sorelli range, Bottle Green winemakers Nick Butler and Paul Sanders have worked with the Italian business to create the premium Revero range.

Sorelli will also provide the Chianti DOCGs to Bottle Green’s pan-Italian Vespucci range.

Adam Marshall, commercial director at Bottle Green, said: “This is the start of an exciting partnership with Sorelli, who are well-known and significant players domestically.

“We are delighted to be spearheading their new drive into export markets which, in turn, is another major step in Bottle Green’s strategy to build on our strengths in Italy. The wines from Sorelli will deliver consumers something special from the celebrated Chianti.”
