Waitrose backs Wine Relief

Waitrose is to give 10% of the retail price of eight wines to Comic Relief’s Wine Relief fund.

The wines include the company’s own-label Brut NV Cava which retails for £6.99, Wither Hills New Zealand Pinot Gris at £9.99, and Champteloup 2009 Muscadet at £6.99.

The other wines in the fundraising effort are Forte Alto Italian Pinot Grigio at £7.99, Cono Sur Viognier from Chile at £7.49, Vuvuzela Tempranillo/Cabernet from La Mancha at £5.99, Sicily’s Inycon Nero d’Avola/Frappato at £6.49 and Calvet Reserve Merlot from Bordeaux at 6.99.

The offer ends on Red Nose Day, March 18.
