The second in Peter Kay’s new series of John Smith’s ads is appearing on TV screens this week.
The ad parodies an Antiques Roadshow-type event where Kay expresses incredulity at the low valuation of a watercolour his character has brought along to the show.
The ad, part of the No Nonsense series in which Kay first featured in 2002, follows the screening of Diner earlier this month – the first John Smith’s ad starring Kay to be filmed for seven years.
Sky viewers can enjoy the added bonus of being able to click on the green button at the end of the commercial to see an exclusive behind-the-scenes video showing the making of the two new ads.
